Minutes taken by the Clerk at the meeting of Carrington parish council, which was held on Tuesday 28th January 2020 in Carrington village hall commencing at 7.00pm
Present: Cllr. K. Rundle, Cllr. T. Morgan, Cllr. A. Paul, Cllr. E. Wells, Cllr. Mrs r. Thompson, Cllr. I. Thompson and the Clerk, Mrs v Clark.

The chairman opened the meeting and started with the public forum:

Meeting started at 7.02pm
1. Apologies for absence to receive and accept apologies where valid reasons for absence have been given to the Clerk prior to the meeting
Apologies were received from Cllr. Ms. T. Ducker, on proposal from Cllr. E. Wells seconded by Cllr. I. Thompson all resolved to accept the reason given
2. Declarations of interest (if any) to receive declarations of interest under the localism act 2011 – being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on members’ register of interests
Cllr. T. Morgan declared an interest in items 5:c, d & e
3. Notes of the parish council meeting held on 26th November 2019
To resolve as a correct record and to authorise the chairman to sign the official minutes
On proposal from Cllr. I. Thompson seconded by Cllr. A. Paul all resolved to accept them as a correct record of the meeting and the chairman signed them

c. Becoming a town council – thoughts on names
After a discussion it was decided that the name would be new bolingbroke town council and Carrington, on proposal from Cllr. A. Paul, seconded by Cllr. Mrs. R. Thompson all resolved that this should be the town council name

No answer from the owners has been received
5. Planning – town and country planning act 1990 - to consider and make observations on all planning applications received and to note planning approvals, refusals, enforcement complaints and appeal decisions advised by the district council
a. S/029/01318/19 waterloo housing group, erection of a bungalow and construction of a vehicular access on land adjacent to 22 occupation lane, pe22

Thanks were given to beeswax farming and j. D. Rundle for filing the potholes & levelling the parish land outside the town hall that is used for parking and turning.

There are hedges in the village that are overhanging the path

The content of the old website will be transferred to the new, which will allow easier access on a wider range of mobile devices
