2019 Annual Parish Meeting

Minutes of the Annual Parish meeting held on 28 May 2019 at 6.00pm in Carrington Village Hall

Present: 8 members of the public, Councillors K. Rundle, T. Morgan, J. Hayes and Mrs Victoria Clark, the Parish Council Clerk

1.   A warm welcome

Everyone received a welcome on arrival         

2.   Welcome from the Chairman of the meeting

Cllr. Rundle thanked everyone for being there and the members of the council for their contributions throughout the past year

3.   Notes from the Annual Parish meeting held on Tuesday 15th May 2018: To resolve as a correct record by those that attended last year’s meeting and to authorise the Chairman of the meeting to sign the official minutes

On proposal from Cllr. S. Clark (Frithville Parish Council) and seconded by Cllr. Morgan, all those that attended last year’s meeting, resolved to accept them as the minutes of the meeting and they were signed by the Chairman

4.   Parish Clerk’s report, to include Parish and Council matters during the past year

Update on funds for the proposed defibrillator 

Councillor and residents Emergency Plan training is continuing with Lincolnshire County Council

The play area is keeping tidy now that larger bins have been placed there

Councillors and residents are clearing the path to the Church in New Bolingbroke

Speeding through the villages remains a problem and the Parish Council will keep trying to get it lowered 

5.   Financial report

Opening balance on 1 April 2018, £5,804 and closing on 31 March 2019, £7,318

6.   Short overview for the past year from outside bodies

Reports were read from Park United, Carrington and New Bolingbroke Churches, Carrington Village Hall and New Bolingbroke Town Hall
